Hello there everybody, Welcome to my first newsletter as Group Leader of the Bambini Room. We have temporarily closed the Sunflower Room. Daisy Corner is our under 2’s group. My assistants will be Elysia, Jaime and Kasey as relief. I am sure we will make a fantastic team to support and complete a great program for all the children.
The children are really enjoying the move from Sunflower into their new “big” room with lots of time to roam and explore their new surroundings. The wooden building blocks, lego and stacking pegs are firm favourites. Many of us are also enjoying sensory play, finger painting, clay play and shaving foam.
We are working towards promoting self-help skills, with washing faces, taking off and putting on shoes, packing away toys and putting our rubbish in the bin. Most of the children are doing really well with these skills. Reading and looking at books as well as flashcards are really popular in our room. A variety of books are made available to all children at all times. Cheers from Tracey, Elysia, Jaime and Kasey.
