We are coming to the end of our meals trial, provided by Bella Rosa’s.
Overall the response has been good and the children seem to be enjoying the lovely food being provided for them.
We are now into week 8 of our 12 week trial and we have had some minor adjustments to the menu to cater for children’s tastes and these appear to be working out very well.
Our lunch menu will be up for review at the end of this 12 week trial along with the prospect of adding the lunch fee into the regular fees so that all children will be able to receive the centre provided lunches.
With the lunch fee being added to the regular centre fee it will be included in the CCB reduction so therefore families will not be paying full price for the lunches anyway after receiving their CCB rebate.
In the end the lunches will be as cheap as chips.
