Harmony Room:

Hi to all from the harmony room,
We have been working on our fine motor skills, opening and shutting containers, reading, bead threading and painting. We have also been catching and roughing balls for gross motor and hand, eye coordination. We have been talking about the time of the year and how it is getting colder and what we can do to keep warm, heating, clothes etc. We have been going through some of the Phoneme’s eg. a in apple sound a, b in ball sound b, we have also been counting things we do in other activities, playing with cars, counting the cars, threading and counting the beads. We have come a long way in our focus on Montessori with our self help skills. Everyone rinses own plate after food and knows how to wipe the tables and wash their hands in the correct manner and how proud we all are. Parents please make sure to bring in a jumper or jacket and have names on each item as the mornings are cool but the days are often very warm, so the clothes are taken off.
