Fire Truck visit

David, Ben and David practicing their skills!

On Wednesday 21st April country Kids Early Learning had an exciting and informative visit from the local Fire Brigade. The fireman talked to the children about fire safety and what to do when there is a fire. The children received a picture of the fire truck to colour in, stickers and money boxes to make to remember the day by. The children were lucky enough to have a turn at spraying the fire hose at the centre bus, even the staff got involved and had a go. Many of the children took the opportunity to explore the fire truck up close and personal by voyaging inside. We all waved the firemen goodbye as they sounded their sirens and drove out the driveway. A huge thank you to the firemen who willingly gave up their time and expertise to pass on their knowledge about fire safety to the children at Country Kids Early Learning.
